Austrian President Alexander van der Bellen, at the invitation of President Stevo Pendarovski, is on an official visit to Macedonia and today he will begin the working part of the visit, and in addition to his host, he will also have meetings with the Speaker of the Parliament Talat Xhaferi and Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski. .

Van der Bellen, according to the announcements, will be welcomed with the highest state and military honors at an official ceremony in Villa "Vodno", after which a face-to-face meeting of the two presidents and a plenary meeting of the delegations of North Macedonia and Austria will follow. His address at a solemn session in the Macedonian Assembly is also planned.

According to the agenda for the visit, the two presidents should address the Macedonian-Austrian economic forum "Strengthening business relations between North Macedonia and Austria", and President Van der Bellen and President Pendarovski are scheduled to attend the church "St. Spas" in Skopje to lay wreaths on the grave of Gotse Delchev.

Austrian President Van der Bellen started his stay in the Republic of North Macedonia yesterday with a visit to Ohrid, after which, accompanied by the Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska, he visited the Old Skopje Bazaar last night.
