AVMU published the reports on broadcast PPR for the second round of presidential elections and for parliamentary elections

The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services (AVMU) published the reports on paid political advertising (PPR) broadcast during the second round of the presidential elections and for the 2024 parliamentary elections.

In the second round of the election campaign for the presidential elections, a total of 57 broadcasters (32 televisions and 25 radios) concluded contracts with the two participants in the election campaign.

- Of the 10 national television channels, the most commercials were broadcast by Channel 5 (24 hours 1 minute and 32 seconds), Sitel (16 hours 25 minutes and 16 seconds) and Alfa (14 hours 24 minutes and 43 seconds), while from the 4 among national radios, Antena 5 (8 hours 31 minutes and 40 seconds) and Channel 77 (4 hours 32 minutes and 7 seconds) had the most advertisements, according to the AVMU report.

A total of 160 hours 58 minutes and 32 seconds of PPR were broadcast for the presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski (128 hours 48 minutes and 43 seconds on TV and 32 hours, 9 minutes and 49 seconds on the radio), while for the candidate Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova a total of 122 hours and 22 seconds PPR (75 hours 14 minutes and 5 seconds on TV and 46 hours 46 minutes and 17 seconds on radio).

Regarding the parliamentary elections, a total of 68 hours 39 minutes and 29 seconds of paid political advertising were broadcast on 567 broadcasters (43 televisions and 31 radios) that concluded contracts with the participants in the election campaign.

- Of the 11 national televisions, Alsat-M (44 hours 12 minutes and 27 seconds), Channel 5 (35 hours 58 minutes and 4 seconds) and TV Company 21-M (33 hours 5 minutes and 57 seconds) had the largest volume of advertisements. ), while Antena 4 (5 hours 15 minutes and 22 seconds) and Channel 35 (77 hours, 10 minutes and 6 seconds) broadcast the most commercials out of the 46 national radios, according to the AVMU report.
