How much will it be mass protest so it will be greater pressure on government to accept premature parliamentary elections, thinks the political scientist BlagоAtanasoski after the decision of VMRO-DPMNE except for the active blockade on Parliament to hold a mass protest on June 18. According to Atanasoski, whether the new measure of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE will cause early elections will depend on the endurance and mass of the protests and on the opposition front that would be created as supra-party civil movement.

-We will see if the opposition leader will have the capacity to attract a mass of people, outside the faithful and traditional party activists from the municipal committees. That is, the more massive the protest, the more pressure will be put on the government to give in and accept the thrown glove by the opposition leader for organizing early parliamentary elections. It will all depend on the factor of endurance of the protests (summer is coming), their mass and the opposition front that would be created as a non-partisan civic movement that will have to accumulate all dissatisfied government structures, regardless of party affiliation, ethnic-religious and social - says Atanasoski.

Atanasoski thinks whether the opposition is riding the wave of union dissatisfaction and protests deck they in part were coordinated by the top of VMRO-DPMNE.

-As for whether DPMNE is sticking to the previous union protests, I personally think that they were (partially) coordinated, encouraged and instructed by the top party leadership of the opposition with the union leaders who are inclined towards their political option, in order to create a precedent. of dissatisfaction with what the opposition is announcing today as "blockade of Parliament ”and mass protests in the future - says Atanasoski.
