The "Belasica" bridge can be opened immediately for pedestrians, cyclists and one lane for motor vehicles, preliminary results showed, according to the mayor Danela Arsovska.

However, as she said, they do not want to take any risks, so they will wait until the expertise is completed.

"What we have from the experts after these first preliminary results could be opening for pedestrians, cyclists and even two lanes of driving in one direction immediately, but we decided to wait until we have the correct precise information and immediately after if some minor rehabilitation or reconstruction needs to be carried out and put into use. In 20 days, the expertise is expected to be completed, and then we will know in more detail what kind of intervention is needed," said the mayor.
