Arsovska appointed the first people of the public companies whose directors resigned

The mayor Danela Arsovska appointed them today the new acting directors of public enterprises in Skopje, whose directors resigned or were dismissed in the past period.

With PE "Lajka" will be managed by Radmila Pesheva, an activist from the Animal Protection Association "Anima Mundi", and the new director of PE "Streets and Roads" is Said Said. The acting director position in PE "City Parking" is appointed Krste Petrevski, in "Parks and Greenery" by Redzepi Zuhair, while with PE "Drisla" will manage Alexander Kuzinakov.

The new acting directors will have the obligation and responsibility in the next 6 months to implement the necessary reforms in order to consolidate the public enterprises in the following period from the aspect of dealing with the economic and energy crisis. The obligations are in the direction of optimization of assets and processes, reduction of costs and reduction of all non-productive spending, as well as implementation of the reform in the segment of employment in enterprises, which will not allow people who do not go to work or do not perform their work duties to be paid from budget funds – informed by the City of Skopje.

From there, there is no information about the previous experiences of the newly appointed directors, and according to the obligations that they have to fulfill in the next six months, it can be expected that there will be layoffs of employees in these public enterprises in the following period.
