Skopje is not a clean ecological city and pollution in Skopje is still a topic among Skopje residents. A year when the weather is windy can reduce the parameters that indicate pollution, but in no case is it a permanent solution. The program for modern Skopje envisages the establishment of a green council with environmental experts and representatives of the non-governmental sector where all issues in the field of ecology and urban chaos in Skopje will be considered. A green line will be opened where citizens can report pollution and incidents related to the environment, and inspection and intervention teams will take action immediately without delay, said the independent candidate for mayor of Skopje, Danela Arsovska at today's press conference in the City Park. .

- In the first 82 days of the mandate, we will clean the illegal landfills where hazardous waste is burned. We will procure 250 environmentally friendly buses and facilitate access to public transport, and free and quality public transport is expected to reduce car use and traffic jams. More pedestrian zones will be established in the municipalities, where pedestrians and cyclists will have priority over cars. 100 new trees will be planted every year to increase the greenery in the city, no more trees will be cut down either in the center or anywhere else in the city. We will initiate a law for protection of Vodno and the extension of the cable car will begin, she said.

One of the solutions in Arsovska's program is gasification of Skopje, which, according to her, will provide an ecological solution for Skopje residents, as well as the creation of more green areas in the city, which will further contribute to reducing pollution and providing clean and healthy environment for all Skopje citizens.

- Additionally, five new mega parks will be realized. There must be systemic solutions to pollution. The people of Skopje are fed up with excuses that there is no time to fix something. We all know that we need will and a plan. We need efficient and complete solutions, not partial ones. Let's start changing things, for our Skopje, for a modern Skopje, concludes Arsovska.

Arsovska emphasizes that for taxi drivers it is important that they have good positions that will be placed in accurate, quality and well-chosen places in the city, where there is the highest frequency of passengers, where they will be able to provide the appropriate service, and in not a single moment to be damaged as a sector.

The public transport company, according to Arsovska, must be sustainable, and will be sustainable with quality and efficient process management and all that is really important to see that public companies can generate profit and not be losers.

- I constantly appeal and say that only in the first six months of this year has generated a loss of 139 million, which is a really big loss and you see it continuously in the past years. I believe with good and quality management, this process will be closed. So, we have to manage the quality of the public enterprises in order for them to show good results, and above all we have to know that the city of Skopje is currently subsidizing the public transport company with a really huge amount of funds to cover those debts and costs that are do in JSP, said the independent candidate for mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska.

Asked by reporters about Shilegov's claims that she refuses to take part in the debate with him, Arsovska said that if Shilegov wants to reflect on democracy, it is right to first apologize for the discredits and insults and they will have a debate the next day.

- I have said many times, in the very debates we had to face Mr. Shilegov, I asked him personally, looking him in the eye, to apologize for all the insults he made and for all the personal discredits he made from his mayoral profile, for which all of us Skopje citizens pay for him to be in that position, and not to insult or discredit us. And if he wants to reflect on democracy, it is time to apologize first. "Then I will have no problem sitting at the table with him again," she said.
