An Argentine tennis player arrested in Paris, drunk attacked a taxi driver

Argentine tennis player Francisco Serundolo has been arrested in Paris for allegedly attacking a taxi driver while intoxicated.

The incident happened on the night between Wednesday and Thursday, and according to the statement of the taxi driver given to the police, Serundolo together with four other friends.

The five wanted to get into a taxi, but the taxi driver did not allow it, after which he was physically attacked by Serundolo. According to the taxi, the Argentine tennis player was under the influence of alcohol.

In addition to Serundolo, a friend of his was arrested, but due to lack of evidence, both were released. Serundolo ended his performance at Roland Garros in the first round after losing 3-0 in sets to Daniel Evans.
