Anticorruption investigates Angjushev for concealing private interests

The SCPC opened a case against Deputy Prime Minister Kocho Angjushev due to the government's decision to reduce customs duties on lithium batteries for batteries, reported Telma.

According to the state commission for prevention of corruption, Angjushev was not exempted in the second part of the procedure.

He attended a government session where the decision was adopted. The SCPC has determined that there is a conflict of interest and will ask the Prime Minister to launch an initiative to establish responsibility for concealing private interests by Angjushev.

This decision of the SCPC was adopted after a 30-minute debate of the members, with 4 votes in favor, 2 against.

In an interview with Telma's Top Tema, Angjushev claimed that the request for a reduction in tariffs was for a Polish company and not for his business interest.
