Minister Stefoska reminded that in the past civilizations collapsed, states disintegrated, territories were plundered, peoples were assimilated, but no one managed to destroy the culture because in culture was the strength of those who dared to say NO to evil, to say NO to the occupier, who first reaches for the territory, and then for the culture, for our identity.

"The history of the Macedonian struggle for freedom is long. From 'Sorrow for the South', through 'The Difficult', from 'White Dawns' to 'Wolf Night', 'Eyes', 'Darkness', 'Oh, Macedonian', 'Weed', 'Wild Meat' , our whole history is in these titles. "Macedonian culture is much bigger than our country and the duration of our lives," said Stefoska.

At the event "80 years since the first shot - culture and art = disobedience", pianist Boban Mirkovski performed the composition "Piano Suite" by one of the most prominent representatives of Macedonian contemporary music of the last century, Tomislav Zografski.

Students from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, in the class of Professor Zoja Buzalkovska, performed a mini play with excerpts from the ASNOM Manifesto, translated into several languages, and reminded the audience of a little forgotten song sung by the great Senka Veletanlizva and Za Naumov.

The finale of the event was the audiovisual work "80 years since the first shot - culture and art = disobedience". The work describes the struggle and liberation from the fascism of our country, the dark times, but also the desire for freedom. Cultural progress is also presented as a foundation in the struggle for liberation and building of contemporary Macedonian culture. The work is produced by 3D mapping. The director and author is Professor Milcho Uzunov, and in a video production of "3D Project Studio" from Skopje. The work is composed of several composed music tracks differentiated into two parts, and their author is the renowned Macedonian composer Kokan Dimushevski, said the Ministry of Culture.
