Anonymous report of a bomb at the Rectorate of the University of Pristina

Kosovo police surrounded the rectory of the Hasan Pristina State University (UP) in the center of the Kosovo capital this afternoon, after receiving a report of an alleged bomb planted in the building, MIA reports from Pristina.

UP Rector Naser Saiti told the media that it was an email that reached UP's address with a threat of a bomb explosion.

Immediately after receiving the information, an anti-mining team from the police arrived at the scene, isolating the building and the yard of the Rectorate with police tapes.

In a press release, the police officially confirmed the case, adding that the necessary operational actions have been taken to manage the situation.
