An IPSOS survey shows a low rating of the parties, most of the citizens are undecided

For the needs of VMRO-DPMNE, the IPSOS agency conducted a field survey of public opinion of 1.014 respondents for the period from July 01 to 18, 2022. The poll addresses several current issues.

1. When asked if only parties and not coalitions would run in the next elections, which party would you vote for? (*of the entire population)

• VMRO-DPMNE 19.7%
• SDSM 9.5%
• DUI 6.2%
• Left 5.9%
• Alliance for Albanians 2.8%
• Other 4.2%
• undecided 22.5%
• 17% refused to answer
• 12.2% would not vote

These results show that more than half of the respondents - that is, 51,7 percent do not support are not determined for any of the political parties offered, and 4,2 percent support other political options that are not in the offered answers to the survey.

In relation to the results of the previous IPSOS poll from May this year, the ratings of VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM have decreased, while DUI and Alliance for Albanians show the same sentiment, and the Left has a minimal increase in the rating.

If parliamentary elections were held tomorrow, 22 percent of respondents would vote for VMRO-DPMNE, and 12.9 percent for SDSM. DUI has the support of 6.2 percent of those polled, Left from 5.4 percent, while behind them are the Alliance for Albanians with 2.8 percent, BESA with 2 and Alternativa with 1.3 percent. More than 10 percent of respondents said that they will not vote in the next elections, 15,8 percent of them refused to answer.

The IPSOS survey shows that citizens are mostly concerned about economic problems, and very little about the problem of the state's identity, the name, corruption, partisanship, the judiciary, the war in Ukraine, inter-ethnic relations, education, entry into the EU, international politics and the like. Unemployment (7%) worries almost as much as the French proposal and the problems with Bulgaria (8%).

Asked directly whether or not to support the French proposal, more than half answered that they did not support it.

4. Do you support or not support the French proposal to overcome the dispute between Macedonia and Bulgaria?

5. How would you rate Dimitar Kovacevski's performance so far as Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia on a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 is a very bad result and 5 is an excellent result?

When sending the results of the poll ordered by IPSOS, the opposition party summarized that VMRO-DPMNE has a double advantage over SDSM, the vast majority are against the French proposal, and Kovacevski has an "impassable unit" as prime minister.
