- The situation with the increase in the price of electricity is very serious and in general everyone should think about how to reduce consumption, says the president of the Union of Chambers of Commerce Trajan Angelovski who, together with a delegation from the country, participated in a promotional conference of the "Green Navigator of the West" initiative Balkans" which was held in Banja Luka in the organization of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, the Ministry of European Integration and International Cooperation and the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Srpska.

According to him, this initiative is very significant because it provides support through the transfer of knowledge and experience to the real sector for a faster green transition, as well as financial support that is necessary to speed up the process.

"In North Macedonia, installation of photovoltaic power plants with the size of a medium hydropower plant has already begun. "We should all try to value and save energy, contribute to its production and use as many renewable energy sources as possible," said Angeloski.

By 2030, the European Union will allocate 30 billion dollars for the countries of the Western Balkans for the transformation towards a climate-neutral economy, and one of the measures is saving and using renewable energy sources.

Companies through this transformation should reduce the emission of harmful gases to preserve the environment and ensure a sustainable economy. "Green Navigator" is in negotiations with certain banks with the intention of providing credit lines so that companies can approach the transformation to a sustainable economy as cheaply and efficiently as possible.

The business association "Green Navigator of the Western Balkans" was founded by the Development Fund of Vojvodina, the Guarantee Fund of Vojvodina and the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Srpska in March of this year, and the president of the Association, Angeloski, is a member of the Board of Directors.
