Homes in Skopje will have heating on October 15, he claims Viktor Andonov, adviser on energy in the Prime Minister's Office. According to him, there is optimism that the talks with Serbia for the purchase of gas will end successfully, the agreement will work and that the necessary quantities of gas will be provided for the operation of the TE-TO and the heating plants. He pointed out that those power plants also have reserve fuel, that is, they can also operate on fuel oil, which means that if the gas option is not agreed upon and sufficient funds are not provided for the purchase of natural gas at stock market prices, there is also a reserve option, which is working on fuel oil.

Clarifying about the purchase of gas, he said that our country will buy gas from Serbia, and then electricity will be produced and sold to Serbia.

We will pay for the amount of gas, and they will pay for the amount of electricity. The amount of electricity that will remain will be sold to industry at prices that will be acceptable to them and that will be output depending on the price of gas. The heat will be sold to the citizens - informed Andonov.

He reminded that the Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi in Turkey in the past period, he discussed providing additional amounts of electricity and natural gas, in Greece for a constant supply of lignite and fuel oil, and in Bulgaria for a cheaper price of electricity below the stock market, for the necessary amounts for the industry.

When all these talks are finalized, the Government will present them to the chambers of commerce and the public in the most transparent way - said Andonov.
