The information related to the tax exemption of sports entities through the so-called "voucher system" presented on Friday by the members of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCC), are tendentious and completely incorrect, they assure, through the announcement sent to the public, by the Agency for Youth and Sports (AMS). It is about the allegations that the Anti-Corruption Commission forwarded with the announcement of an initiative for criminal prosecution of the director of the Agency Naumche Mojsovski, with a request to the Government to determine his responsibility and with a recommendation to the IRS for enhanced supervision of sports federations, clubs and individual athletes, beneficiaries of sports vouchers.

- We want to emphasize that at the public session of the SCSC, as well as through tendentious announcements of certain sports institutions inspired only by lucrative goals, a bunch of untruths and wrongly established facts were presented about the application of the Law on Sports and the by-laws that refer to the section of the tax incentives, and are in function of financial support of the Macedonian sports system - the Agency announced.

From there, first of all, they point to the public address, "filled with a handful of untruths by the president of the IOC, Mr. Daniel Dimevski, which coincidentally coincides with the day of the SCCC session."

- Namely, Mr. Dimevski publicly requested dismissal in AMS and immediate freezing of the procedure for awarding sports vouchers. At the same time, this was requested by the man who is the creator and creator of the system of sports vouchers, the man who in 2020 cumulates two positions as president of the central committee for awarding sports vouchers, member of the IOC management board, and later its president, and at the same time, a person who, in the same year 2020, is demanding an amount of 15 million denars for the IOC, even though as president he should have been aware that that institution at that moment did not meet the legal requirements for regulated sports activity - the Agency emphasizes.

According to the Agency, the basic idea behind the adoption of measures for tax relief in the form of vouchers for sports entities originally regulated by the amendments to the Law on Sports from 2019 was to increase the state support of the Macedonian sports system and to stimulate the private sector to invest more. in sports.

The Agency also corrects the Anti-Corruption Commission.

- The members of the Central Commission are at the proposal of the Government, but they are not the ones who "award" the vouchers for tax exemption, as indicated by the DKSK, but are an administrative commission that only performs administrative-technical processing and evaluation of the received ones submits applications and the proposal list to the Sports Council, which is an expert-advisory body, in accordance with Article 25 of the Law on Sports. Within five days of receiving the proposed list of sports entities that meet the criteria for using funds from the tax exemption, the Sports Council determines and adopts the proposed ranking list at a meeting. The Agency for Youth and Sports publishes the adopted list of subjects on its website - the explanation says.

AMS, according to the announcement, expects that the competent institutions will rule on the accusations of the DCSC in the shortest possible time in order for the public to have a complete insight into the work of the Agency.
