The American emissary for the Balkans, Kasanoff, will visit Kosovo on Thursday
The Embassy of the United States of America confirmed today that the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and the new American emissary for the Western Balkans, Alexander Kasanoff, will visit Kosovo tomorrow (Thursday, October 10), the MIA correspondent from Pristina reported.
Kasanoff, according to the Embassy's statement sent to several media outlets, will meet in Pristina with representatives of the Government of Kosovo, as well as with representatives of the opposition parties, civil society and businesses.
The American diplomat arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, and after BiH he will stay in Serbia.
This will be Kasanoff's first visit since he assumed the position of US emissary for the Western Balkans following the departure of Gabriel Escobar from that post in mid-July of this year.
