American journalist Ben Rothenberg sided with Novak Djokovic when it came to vaccinating male and female tennis players.

The Prime Minister of the Australian state of Victoria, where Melbourne is located, the city where the Australian Open is held, told all tennis players that they must be vaccinated if they want to participate in the Grand Slam tournament.

The Government of Victoria has decided to ban the entry of all foreign nationals who are not vaccinatedand thus created a big problem for the organizer who has already started thinking about moving the tournament to another city in Australia where the rules are not so strict.

Journalist Rothenberg says such a decision by the Victorian government is pointless.

- Everyone talks only about Novak, and no one mentions that even 50 percent of the tennis players are not vaccinated. What is the Prime Minister of the State of Victoria talking about? It has nothing to do with a reasonable decision. I think their decision is not good and I am sure that they will not force anyone to be vaccinated if the tennis player himself does not want that - said Rothengerg.

By the way, Ben Rothenberg is a big advocate for coronavirus vaccination and believes that this is the only solution that will end the pandemic.
