American experts claim that Russian losses around Zaporozhye have increased in recent days

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports that Russian losses in western Zaporozhye have increased significantly in recent days.
They add that the Russian army is likely struggling with a shortage of available combat-effective units that the Russian command is willing to redeploy laterally to this sector of the front.
Ukrainian forces continued offensive operations in the #Bakhmut area on Sept. 19 but did not make any confirmed advances. The UKR General Staff reported that UKR forces continue assaults south of Bakhmut and are inflicting significant manpower and equipment losses on RU forces. https://t.co/6DWOzQhzCj pic.twitter.com/04LtIjbfkd

ISV also reports that both Russian and Ukrainian sources attribute recent Ukrainian advances south of Bakhmut to superior Ukrainian combat coordination, more accurate artillery fire and stronger electronic warfare systems.
