Evan Maxwell (27 years, 208 cm.) is the latest reinforcement for MZT Skopje Aerodrom on the eve of the new season, after signing a one-year contract with the Macedonian champion today.

We are talking about an American center, behind whom are three seasons in European basketball in which he achieves a double-digit scoring performance. He does well in the "two on two" game, he has no problem hitting a three-pointer, and when he is in the racket, he almost regularly ends the actions with a dunk.

Maxwell spent last season in Ukrainian team Zaporozhye, where in 24 matches he averaged 11 points with 6,7 rebounds, while he previously played for the British Premier League club Newcastle Eagles and the Slovakian team BK Spiska with an average of 13 points with 6,4 rebounds, i.e. 15,6 rebounds with 7,5 jumps.

The scouts who follow him expect him to be one of the most pleasant surprises of the season, not only on the home stage but also in The ABA League, where the "storks" returned after a four-year stay in the second-best ranking.

In MZT, he will perform together with compatriots Mike Caffey and Bre Ivy, as well as with Serbian international Strahinja Micović. From the Macedonian basketball players, the club has contractual obligations with Damjan Stojanovski, Adem Mekic, Bojan Krstevski, Damjan Robev, and the three youngsters Dimitar Ivanov, Marko Spasovski and Bojan Velichkovski.
