Police in the United States have arrested a man accused of kidnapping and torturing a woman. Benjamin Obadiah Foster, 36, allegedly found the victims through a dating app, and police launched a search on Jan. 24 after a woman was found in critical condition at a home in Grants Pass, ABC reports.

Authorities say the victim was "bound and beaten unconscious" and that Foster is wanted for attempted murder, kidnapping and assault. During the investigation, it was discovered that the accused used dating apps to get female users to help him escape or to target them as new potential victims. Police also arrested 68-year-old Tina Marie Jones for obstructing criminal proceedings.

The victim, Justin Siemens, was transported to a local hospital and placed on life support. Foster has already been convicted of domestic violence twice.
