VIDEO | Alternative: We prefer to talk about how to get out of the crisis rather than what functions we will get
"We need to give stability and continuity a chance for the country to start negotiations with the EU," Alternative spokesman Orhan Murtezani told a news conference tonight.
- The party authorized the president to communicate with the current prime minister and the new prime minister-designate to see what their concept is for overcoming this crisis. "We will also hear their version and whether there is a will for a joint program and whether the government partners will relinquish their power in order to have balance," Murtezani said.
He adds that the final decision on whether Alternative will enter the government will be made by the Central Assembly after they have more information.
- The alternative is not driven by appetites for power and taking parts of power. We have stated the reasons for the start of negotiations, we do not know how they will end. "We want to talk more about the ways out of this crisis than what functions we will get," Murtezani said.
