We are going to the elections, we have signed and agreed on a joint performance, of course conditionally speaking elections, because we still do not have free and fair elections, said Miroslav Aleksic, vice president of the People's Party.
In a joint address to the public, together with Zoran Lutovac (DS), Vuk Jeremic (NS), Dragan Djilas (SSP), representatives of the Movement of Free Citizens (PSG), the Movement of Free Serbia, the Movement for Change, the Civic Platform were announced. Lutovac said that they decided "by listening to the voice of the people and the relevant research, for a frontal struggle, together with the citizens", and that they agreed on "an alliance and rise above ideological and party differences in order to create a rule of law" and that they are "an alternative to (Serbian President) Aleksandar Vuќi.".
Djilas said that they will go for victory at all levels, and Jeremic said that they left the party interests for "happier times" because they want Serbia on April 3 to be a different country from the current one.
In last year's parliamentary elections, the Serbian opposition and these parties united in the Alliance for Serbia boycotted the elections, and on April 3, 2022, regular presidential and city elections in Belgrade will be held in Serbia, as well as early parliamentary elections.
