Albanian President Begaj is leaving tomorrow for a two-day visit to Kosovo

Albanian President Bajram Begaj, at the invitation of his Kosovo colleague Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, will travel to Kosovo tomorrow for a two-day official visit, his cabinet announced.

With all state honors, he will be welcomed by the hostess in a solemn ceremony, after which they will have a private meeting, and immediately after that, a meeting of the delegations of the two countries and a press conference.

Tomorrow, the first day of the visit, meetings with the Speaker of the Parliament Glauk Konjufca and Prime Minister Albin Kurti are planned.

Begaj will also pay tribute to the monument to the missing, to the first Kosovo president Ibrahim Rugova, and will visit the museum house of the Jashari family.

On Tuesday, there are expected to be meetings with the president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, with the president of the Democratic Union of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdijku, with the president of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj and with the leaders of the minority parties.

Then a meeting with the commander of KFOR and a visit to the soldiers of the Albanian armed forces, who serve in KFOR (Peć), are expected.

He will also visit Prizren, where he will meet with the mayor of this city, and the visit will end with a visit to the Complex dedicated to the Prizren League.

This is Begaj's first visit to another country, after assuming the presidency on the 24th of last month.
