The Speaker of the Albanian Parliament Lindita Nikola at the meeting with the delegation of the Kosovo Assembly in Tirana promised to lobby in all parliaments of the member states of the Council of Europe to support Kosovo's accession to that organization, reports Gazete Express.

The delegation of the Assembly of Kosovo, consisting of Vice President Saranda Bogujevci and MPs Ariana Musliu Shoshi and Arben Gashi, met with representatives of the Albanian Parliament in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

"In these warm and friendly meetings, they also discussed the further strengthening of the cooperation between the two parliaments, within the framework of the daily parliamentary activities," the Assembly said in a statement.

The meeting also discussed the intensification of the engagement of both the parliaments and the delegations in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, just a few days after the submission of Kosovo's application for membership in the Council of Europe.
