The coronavirus strain is spreading rapidly in almost all countries, and experts warn that the peak of the infection is yet to come.

The number of active cases with covid-19 in the country is 15.576, the total number infected since the beginning of the epidemic in our country has reached 243.284.

In the last 7.564 hours, 1.635 tests were performed, and 19 new cases of covid-785 were registered. Of the newly diagnosed, there are 121 in the capital, followed by Prilep - 110, Bitola - 78, Kumanovo - 47 and Kicevo - XNUMX.

According to the line ministry, out of the total number of positives, they have been registered 184 reinfections.

1.276 recovered patients were registered, and nine patients died, all in hospital.

So far, a total of 1.700.555 covid-19 tests have been performed in the country. The number of recovered patients is 219.616, and the number of deaths is 8.092.

Due to the upward trend of positive persons with covid-19, the authorities are expected to announce whether the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022 will start on time, how the teaching will take place or there will be a delay.
