If no one knew, who knew?
If Mladic did not know. If Milosevic did not know. If Karadzic did not know. Who knew? Is not Drekavec, the monster of Serbian mythology? … This country, if it sincerely wants to get out of all that work, finally - alone, without The Hague - let it determine who made Srebrenica
Those who have been defending Serbia most loudly for years, defile it the most, even though they are not aware of it. Although, well, some are. Hitler was also a German patriot, there is no doubt about that, although the Germans barely survived because of him. Just like the Serbs, in the places where they defended the ultranationalists…
And that's why I'm interested in this wording for the Serbian world, because there are no more Serbs in Kosovo, south of the Ibar… But let's not arouse conspiracy theories…
Today, patriotism is about being vaccinated. If not for yourself, then for the nation you love so much. And then it is interesting that the most vaccinated are in these, pejoratively speaking, Second Serbian environments.
In our country, nationalism is still being fed in a tractor. He serves a bunch of Serbs by profession to grab the official bank cards of a state-owned company and discover the lagavulin whiskey, under whose influence later in the evening, when they find out that there are things that are not myths, they admit that they do not think what they say during the day.
About Ratko Mladic, I have to say what Karadzic said in his first interview from prison for this weekly: Srebrenica has become the biggest traitor to the Serbian people.
But who did it? If Mladic did not know. If Milosevic did not know. If Karadzic did not know. Who knew? Is not Drekavec, the monster of Serbian mythology?
I respect the performance of Mladic's son, who says that he would not be next to his father if he just thought he had done such a thing.
But what did Mladic's son say? He does not deny Srebrenica, just as he does not deny Ratko Mladic, nor the obsessed ultranationalist fans, who still admit - it is not Српски to kill prisoners.
This is a big step forward in the last 20 years. No normal person questions that anymore.
Now it is only a matter of formulation, not crime.
That's a big deal, because, to forget the Hague verdicts, some deny even the simplest facts.
Thus, the state leadership of Croatia and Gotovina celebrate the expulsion of 200.000 Serbs, at the same time calling Tesla the largest Croat.
But that is their job.
This country, if it sincerely wants to get out of all that work, finally - alone, without The Hague - let it determine who made Srebrenica. Who is the biggest traitor to the Serbian people, as Radovan Karadzic calls himself? Who did it with a disturbed mind?
Because, if no one is responsible, then we are all responsible, as Belgrade professor Aleksandar Baucal notes.
