A few hours later, as reported by media close to the government, a meeting was held between Vucic and his closest associates, at which he allegedly uttered the following words:

"I have no problem dying, I am ready to be killed, but, never and under no circumstances without a fight, without a choice, I will not give up power!" I will never under any circumstances agree to blackmail, I will never surrender power to the worst without a choice. I will never sign any technical or transitional government! If they kill me, my brother Andrei will stay. If they kill my brother, my son Danilo will stay. If they kill my son, my daughter Milica will stay. If they kill her too, my son Vukan will remain... And our graves will fight against the Ustashas."

The Vice President of the Party for Freedom and Justice, Marinika Tepic, asked Vucic's associates and advisors to "reason" or "prevent" Vucic from making serious decisions on behalf of the state of Serbia.

"The statement about some kind of murder of him, murder of his brother or the children has several dimensions. I will refer to the political, although I think that health is the most important. That statement indicates political disorientation, fear of upcoming changes," he says. Lutovac adds:

"The pressure is from all sides: he promised a lot to the West, Moscow, the criminals, he kept all those promises in balance, and now he is facing the most serious pressure, the pressure of the citizens, which threatens to collapse his political-criminal tower of cards.
