Ahmeti in Switzerland following instructions from former KLA comrades
The leader of DUI will mobilize the Albanian diaspora. Switzerland and Croatia are destinations that Ahmeti will visit at the end of this month, and in meetings with former comrades from the KLA and the Albanian diaspora, he will raise the alarm about the "trampled" legitimacy and the Framework Agreement.
Mobilization of the Albanian diaspora is the next step of DUI leader Ali Ahmeti after the meetings at home with the party membership and citizens. Switzerland and Croatia are destinations that Ahmeti will visit at the end of this month, and in meetings with former comrades from the KLA and the Albanian diaspora, he will raise the alarm about the "trampled" legitimacy and the Framework Agreement.
At the same time, Ahmeti and DUI are in meetings with the citizens almost every day, which are expected to culminate in a protest in Skopje or, as the leader of DUI has already said - that the government will face the people if it messes with the Albanian language.
Following the already known motto "He is coming", DUI informs that Ahmeti will start a tour in the diaspora for the November holidays.
DUI and Ahmeti continue their belligerent rhetoric and the announcement reads:
"He is coming... Dear compatriots, the time has come!" KLA founder and Albanian leader Ali Ahmeti is coming to the diaspora on November 23 in Zurich, Switzerland. We welcome you all!” the post said.
DUI briefs that after 10 years this is Ahmeti's first visit to Switzerland at the invitation of former comrades from the Kosovo KLA. Ahmeti, after becoming the opposition, in almost all his appearances reminds of the KLA and the NLA and reinforces the warlike rhetoric.
It is known that the leader of DUI, before his military and then political involvement in Macedonia, lived in Switzerland and was part of the structures that acted for independent Kosovo, one of the founders of the KLA, and then he was the supreme commander of the NLA. The main meeting in Zurich with former comrades is on November 24, and the date is not accidental, but according to information from DUI, on that date the first KLA communique was sent.
Ahmeti returns to Switzerland after 10 years. His last visit was in 2013, on the eve of the local elections, when DUI mobilized the diaspora to vote in the local elections for Kicevo and Struga. Then, after the territorial division, Albanian mayors were elected for the first time in Kichevo and Struga, when the diaspora arrived en masse by buses and planes in the organization of DUI. In Switzerland, Ahmeti will mark November 22 and 28 - the Day of the Albanian alphabet, that is, the Day of the Albanian flag.
At home, however, according to the plan of the integrators, the meetings with the membership should end in mid-December. The protest, that is, the mass rally, as DUI announces, will be in front of the Parliament, in front of the Government or in the central square, where the request for early parliamentary elections will be delivered, together with the local ones.
After Ahmeti announced to Mickoski "people in the squares", the prime minister replied that DUI continues to be a factor for destabilization, and in a new post he asked him who is destabilizing the state.
"Who is destabilizing the state?" Those who say 'let's return the land to the Macedonians' or those who defend the multi-ethnic character and equality? Those who suppress the will of over 40 percent of the ethnic communities in a multi-ethnic country or those who promote an equal and functional democracy? Those who exclude the diaspora from political and financial calculations, even though that diaspora maintains the financial stability of the country, pays taxes and is the greatest ambassador of this country? Those who order the Constitutional Court to remove the heart of the Ohrid Agreement - the right to ethnic self-identification - or those who respect that right for all citizens? Those who overturn the mechanisms that integrated an entire nation into the institutions of the unitary state, instead of creating parallel institutions, or those who build an equal state and society? Those who try to erase and annul the most sacred – the Albanian language, or those who made the Albanian language official in the country, and Macedonian in the European Union? Those who blocked NATO integration for decades or those who integrated the country into NATO? Those who blocked the path to the European Union or those who opened the accession negotiations and held the first intergovernmental meeting", asks DUI and reiterated that they remain committed to protecting equality, multi-ethnic character and the Ohrid Agreement as a basis for peace and stability.
For SDSM leader Venko Filipce, accusations between DUI and VMRO-DPMNE about destabilization of the state are part of everyday political folklore.
– It is obviously part of everyday political folklore. Threats of instability, response from the prime minister that it is possible, denials from line ministers that it is not possible. I think there is no room for fear and panic. If there is, I expect the institutions to react accordingly, especially the security institutions, the Security Council, and let some body meet and respond to these months-long speculations that there may be such threats to the stability of the country - says Filipche.
