The leader of DUI Ali Ahmeti after the end of today's session of the Central Presidency of the party, where, among other things, proposals of the so-called "Fire group" were discussed, from where they announced that they would act as a faction, he said that any action outside the party's statute is anarchy, and he pointed out the factions are not allowed in DUI.

The principle is that the minority respects the opinion of the majority, otherwise we would be an anarchic party, where everyone will do what they want, says Ahmeti.

"As far as fractionation is concerned, I made such a proposal at the party congress, but the majority did not approve it, and as a democrat, I respect the position of the majority." And according to those congressional decisions, DUI has a statute that does not allow factions. We have to wait for the next congress and I will support such a position for factions. But any action contrary to the statute is anarchy, and anarchy is the greatest enemy of democracy. The principle is that the minority respects the opinion of the majority, otherwise we would be an anarchic party, where everyone will do what they want. The majority should respect the minority, that is democracy," says Ahmeti.

By the way, "The Fire Group" left today's session of the Central Presidency of DUI.

They announced that they will act as a faction, as he said Blerim Bexheti the organizational secretary of the party, the differences are great both from an organizational point of view within DUI, but also in relation to the debate about the program objectives. He complained that inside the DUI they had no real opportunities for debate, and triple standards were used for certain same and similar issues. From today we will have our views, because we will act as a faction within the DUI, indicated Bejeti.

He added that there was no exclusion of their members at today's session. How they will act further, they will inform at the next press conference.

At today's session, a report on the work of party officials in the Government was voted.

"There was a report on the work of the representatives in the Government, after which there was a completely open debate regarding the work of the Government, the implementation of the law on languages, infrastructure projects and events in the country in general. I wanted to hear them, the way they operate. I am particularly interested in the government representatives in the coalition having good cooperation, and this was explained at the session. And a debate was opened at the session. After the debate, I put the report for adoption. Of the members of the presidency present, 26 voted for the report, six were against and three abstained. Here the debate was exhausted and I will call the next meeting depending on the development of the events", the president of DUI pointed out to the journalists.

He informed that the session also discussed the development of events in the country and in the region.

"With special emphasis on the agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia, also called the Ohrid Agreement." An agreement that is important for us and for the entire region, because the region is entering a state of peace, which is especially important for everyone. With the desire that this agreement be respected and implemented by both sides," Ahmeti pointed out.
