Baldoni's lawyer on Ryan Reynolds' joke: I'm shocked that he's making fun of his wife who was sexually harassed!
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds came into the spotlight a few days ago, due to the actor's joke about the legal battle his wife is waging with her co-star Justin Baldoni. Now Baldoni's lawyer has come out to criticize Ryan's joke.

Reynolds appeared with his wife Blake Lively at the 50th anniversary celebration of the show SNL, and at one point he stood up and told hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler that he had a question. "Ryan Reynolds! How are you?" they asked him, and the actor said: "Great! Why, did you hear something?" and thus made the audience laugh, while the actress suddenly became serious after his words.

Baldoni's attorney, Brian Friedman, appeared on "Hot Mix" and called the situation "the last straw" for his team. "I honestly don't know anyone whose wife has been sexually harassed who would make fun of that situation," Friedman said. "I can't think of anyone who has done anything like that. I was surprised," he added.
He added that Baldoni hopes the entire case will be resolved in his favor. The host asked if Baldoni went to Hawaii on vacation with his wife and children. "I wouldn't call it a vacation. I don't think anyone who's been accused of such terrible things, maybe even crimes, is on vacation," Friedman said, adding: "I think he's trying to spend time with his family and find peace."
After a video of Ryan's prank began circulating on social media, many condemned him.
"50 years of SNL will forever be remembered as the place Blake and Ryan came to during their scandal," "Do they really think they can fool us into thinking it's all one big joke for them and that they're above the disastrous narrative being created around them?" and "Was this supposed to be funny? Why are Blake and Ryan even attending events?" are just some of the many comments.
In December 2024, the 37-year-old actress accused the actor of sexual harassment and retaliation, but Justin denied the allegations, after which Blake filed a formal lawsuit against him, and he retaliated with a $400 million lawsuit for defamation and extortion.
