Ademi and Ristovski with Dinamo will play in the play-offs for placement in the League
Macedonian national team members Stefan Ristovski and Arijan Ademi are two games away from qualifying for the Champions League group stage after their team Dinamo Zagreb won against Ludogorets in the second match as well.
In the return match played in Zagreb, Dinamo defeated the Bulgarian champion 4:2 and with a total score of 6:3 secured a double match with Bodo/Glimt for placement in the League.
In the first half, Dynamo had a 3:0 advantage after first Drmic scored in the 12th minute assisted by Ristovski, and then Mislav Orsic entered the scene and scored two goals, in the 27th minute from a penalty and in the 44th minute.
In the last moments of the first half, the Bulgarians reduced the score to 3:1 through Despodov, and at the start of the second half, the same player scored in the 49th minute. But the chances of a surprise for Ludogorets were destroyed by Rik and Karnicnik, who received red cards, and earlier in the first part, Yankov was also sent off.
The advantage of three players on the field, Dinamo used in the finish to give another goal, through Petkovic from the penalty.
Ristovski played the first half, and at the break coach Ante Cacic took him out of the game because he earned a yellow card in the 21st minute. Arian Ademi played the entire game with the captain's armband on his arm.
Placement in the play-offs was secured by Benfica, who also defeated Mitliland in the second leg (1:3) and eliminated the Danes with a total score of 2:7.
Karabakh created a surprise and beat Ferencvaros 1:3 after the first match in Azerbaijan ended without a winner (1:1).
