AAVMU will help radio and television stations, their licenses will be cheaper this year

"Taking into account the current developments with the energy crisis and the large increase in the price of electricity, which directly affects the functioning and economic viability of broadcasters, the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services (AAVMU) will provide financial assistance - a donation to broadcasters that will be realized by reducing their fee for radio and television broadcasting license for 2023", announced today from AAVMU.

"Within the financial capabilities of the Agency, this reduction amounts to 25 percent of the fee for the permit, calculated according to the formula established in the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services," AAVMU said.

The agency hopes that with this donation it will contribute to overcoming the consequences of the current energy crisis and to the smooth functioning of broadcasters in the coming year.
