Severe punishment: The football player who played doped against Macedonia G.P received a suspension of four years
The European house of football, UEFA, has punished CSKA Sofia footballer Georgi Yomov with a suspension of four years, such information is conveyed by the media that are close to the club.
The winger earned a suspension on August 25 when UEFA announced that illegal substances were found in his body after the match against Macedonia's Gjorce Petrov on July 28. In this meeting, Yomov was also the scorer for the Bulgarian club.
Test samples showed that Yomov was positive for the substance dehydrochloromethyltestosterone, which has been banned from sale since the 90s and can only be bought on the black market.
This is where the claims of Yomov, who justified himself that such a substance was accidentally introduced into his body, "fall out of water". The footballer has the right to appeal this decision, but as things stand, the 25-year-old Jomov is waiting for a long break and a big step back in his career.
In the past, he was part of Slavia Sofia, he made ten appearances for the Bulgarian national team, for which he scored two goals.
