Today passed in a peaceful and democratic atmosphere. The Ministry of Interior has not registered any more serious incidents. 91 events have been reported today, a much lower number than in previous election cycles.

- By 19.00, there is a total reduction in the number of reported events by 40%, compared to the elections in July 2020, said the Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski after the voting process in the seventh consecutive local elections.

Spasovski informed that 42 cases of agitation were reported today, as the most common occurrence this election day, seven of which were rejected as unfounded, and the rest are being acted upon.

In addition, 13 allegations of electoral bribery were registered, of which five were rejected as unfounded, 7 allegations of threats or harassment of voters, 6 cases of photographed ballots, 3 cases of printed propaganda material, two incidents of disturbing public order and peace, for filming a room at polling stations, for photographing voters, two for destroying ballot papers, one for discarded ballots, voting by a positive person, obstructing voting, as well as one criminal charge for an event that occurred during the silence said Minister Spasovski.

- Most of the reported incidents are in Skopje, Stip, Kumanovo, Veles and Tetovo. said Spasovski.

He thanked the citizens because he said that the police reacted quickly and professionally to all reported events.
