30 days of detention for the killer from Kočani who killed his partner with 40 stab wounds
The basic court in Kočani sentenced the suspect for the brutal murder of the 30-year-old woman to 46 days of detention. The public prosecutor's office in Kočani opened a murder investigation against the 59-year-old suspect who is believed to have stabbed the victim more than 40 times.
"On September 25, the suspect brutally killed a woman, stabbing her numerous times. He took a kitchen knife from home and, knowing the path the victim takes when she goes to work, he met her and inflicted multiple stab wounds on her chest, stomach, neck and arms. "The victim died on the spot from the injuries," the Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.
